Got a case of the Mondays? We’ve got a solution.
We’ve got a case of the Mondays. Anyone else just feeling a little blah?
We know that American Ninja Warrior is inspiring all the time, but we do have a few favorite runs that we like to rewatch to give ourselves a little jolt of happiness. Here are five American Ninja Warrior runs that never fail to cheer us up.
Jessie Graff – Stage One of the season eight National Finals
It’s just SO GOOD. This run never gets old for us. Jessie flawlessly handled the course to become the first woman to clear Stage One. And with time still left on the clock, she made it look easy.
Jake Murray – Stage One of the season eight National Finals
Speaking of the National Finals in season eight… Jake Murray’s corn-dog run was iconic. It never fails to elicit a chuckle from us.
Najee Richardson – Stage Three of the season nine National Finals
Even though Najee didn’t clear this course, it’s still a favorite of ours to watch. Najee was simply excited to be there. He was riding high on his Stage Two buzzer and was just happy to have more obstacles in front of him. He laughs off a very close call and beams with joy even after he falls.
Michelle Warnky – Cincinnati Qualifiers in Season 10
Normally, we wouldn’t include a run that involved an injury on a list of videos that make us happy. But darn it, we really do like this run. After catching a ring to the face, Michelle simply wiped the blood away and moved on. She smiled. She bounded. She hit the buzzer and looked like a Viking warrior doing it.
Jesse Labreck – Finals of season 12
We can’t even think about this run without grinning. This was not the first time a woman had completed a 10-obstacle course. This was not Jesse’s first time completing a 10-obstacle course. It was her second. The fact that this was a repeat accomplishment helps to normalize Jesse’s ability to be at the top.
There, we feel better already. Which runs are your go-to’s when you need a pick-me-up?
